Coeur de Chèvre
Coeur de chèvre is made in the Poitou-Charentes region, which is known for its beautiful goat's cheeses.
It is made from raw goat’s milk and wrapped in a chestnut leaf that controls its humidity by absorbing the extra moisture if necessary or moistening it if too dry. It has a natural thin white bloomy rind, slightly creased, and a fine and firm texture, quite creamy around the edges. With its distinctive leaf it is both beautiful and delicious.
